It may require outside help for installation, which is more complex.
THE LAMINATE
Semi-massive on birch or other plywood.
ADVANTAGES :
More stable for wide widths
Can be laid floating
DISADVANTAGES :
The layer of noble wood is reduced
It will not last as long as a solid parquet floor
Renovation is limited

THE PROFILE
THE CHAMFER
0 chamfer : GO0 2 chamfers : GO2 4 chamfers : GO4
In general :
English installation : GO0 or GO2
point de Hongrie ou bâton rompu : GO0 or GO4
For a factory finish (varnished or oiled), a chamfer is mandatory.
R+L
(=Groove + Strip)
For floating installation, adhesive must be applied to the lower part of the groove.
Click
The Click profile is only available as a laminate.
THE TYPES OF POSES
GLUED INSTALLATION
(in full) in accordance with DTU 51.2
The adhesive is applied to the floor with a spatula.
The parquet is completely fixed to the floor. This is the most common installation method. Strips and grooves are not glued.
You need to allow 1.2 kg/ m². Sacks of glue are 3 kg.
Bonding is possible on :
cement
concrete slabs
chipboard
old rigid parquet
adherent tiles
plywood
Installation instructions and tips :
For a Clic profile, glue-down installation is possible but more complex. Floating installation is preferable.
For an R+L profile (strip-and-groove), do not glue the strip-and-groove, but glue the board support.
For glue-down installation, the underlay must adhere to the floor. Glue it to the subfloor and then glue the floor back onto the underlay.
FLOATING INSTALLATION
according to DTU 51.11
“Floating” means that the floor is not fixed to the substrate. The elements are assembled and joined together (strip and groove with white bottle glue on the lower part of the groove or clipped together).
Installation instructions and tips :
For underfloor heating, floating installation is possible, but glue-down installation is strongly recommended for better conductivity.
For floating installation, an underlay is compulsory and does not need to be glued to the subfloor.
On an R+L profile, glue the lower part of the groove.
NAILED INSTALLATION
according to DTU 51.11
The parquet (minimum thickness 20 mm) is fixed to the cross joists with nails.
30 cm spacing between joists.

colour variations
FLAMED BROWN OAK/RED
mixed choice with wine colouring
the colour of each board is unique
An oiled finish is preferable as it gives the colour a patina, whereas a varnish will accentuate it.
The colour is due to a mushroom that grows at the foot of the oak tree and climbs up the log.
This gives it a flamed appearance. These oaks are typical of our Centre-val-de-Loire region.
THE FINISH
RAW FINISH
Rough sawn, without any finishing
The finish will be added after the parquet has been laid
OIL FINISH
Impregnation
Bringing out the natural beauty of wood
Easy to renovate and maintain
Can be renovated locally
Advantages :
Good hydrophobic resistance
Product can be partially renovated
Disadvantages :
Requires little maintenance but can be easily repaired
COAT FINISH
Film-forming product
Very good chemical and mechanical resistance
impact resistance: flexible film
Easy to clean, low maintenance
Advantages :
Surface film that blocks minor damage: minor impacts, moisture, wear, etc.
